Student Discovery Learning

We offer an alternative educational setting to mainstream schooling, including home education workshops, engaging half-term clubs, and tailored bespoke learning journeys.

โ€œSD Learningโ€™s forest school day on Tuesday has been so enjoyable for my children. Itโ€™s their favourite day of the week. Shannon is so creative, kind, knowledgeable and encouraging. I would definitely recommend Shannonโ€™s classes.โ€

Who We Are

Weโ€™re a warm, child-led learning community where curiosity steers the journey. Every Tuesday we head out to Greenwich Park for a full day of nature-rich discovery, and from 10am the rest of the week we run lively home-education classes packed with hands-on learning.

Our sessions are overflowing with creative activities and crafts, and children choose community projects that make a real difference; from growing food for Greenwich Food Bank to building a little outdoor library that invites neighbours to read more. Days can include hiking and den-building, hammocks and tree-climbing, sand art and drone-flying, whittling and plant-spotting, plus scavenger hunts, leaf wind chimes and team games inspired by nature.

Weโ€™re driven by a simple passion: inspiring children and building their confidence.
